BUFFR manual and FAQ
Complete setup, capture, export, and Linux Global Controller instructions are in the BUFFR Manual.
Install
- Download the build for your operating system.
- Install the CLAP or VST3 file in the standard plugin location.
- Rescan plugins in your DAW if BUFFR does not appear.
Activate BUFFR
Open License in BUFFR, paste your Polar key, and select Activate. BUFFR installs the license automatically.
Offline activation
Choose Activate offline inside BUFFR. The plug-in opens the machine-bound fallback with its request already filled in.
Manage access
Open My license, enter your purchase email and license key, then manage machines, downloads, billing, or send a verified support request.
Report a BUFFR problem
Open Properties or the Beta log inside BUFFR and choose Report a problem. Add a description and optional reply email. After an unexpected shutdown, BUFFR shows a Review & send banner with locally stored session details. If diagnostics remain enabled, choosing Send also attaches any available OS or DAW crash evidence. Nothing is sent until you review the report and choose Send. Reports are stored as private support issues and are not publicly visible. Never include a license key.
