Agreement
These terms govern your use of the Matari Audio website, downloads, and license services. By using them, you agree to these terms and any product-specific terms shown at checkout or download.
Accounts and checkout
Polar provides checkout and customer-account services. A transaction through Polar is also subject to Polar’s buyer terms. You are responsible for keeping account and license credentials secure and for providing accurate information.
License to use software
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use a downloaded plugin for its intended purpose. A paid perpetual license remains valid for the major version purchased, subject to these terms, and may be active on up to three computers you control unless product-specific terms state otherwise. Trial, beta, alpha, subscription, and other time-limited entitlements end on their stated date or when their applicable access period ends. You may make reasonable backup copies. You may not redistribute keys or builds, bypass licensing controls, resell access, reverse engineer except where law expressly permits, or use the service to harm others.
Updates and major versions
A paid one-time license includes fixes and feature updates released within the purchased major version, such as all 1.x releases. A later major version, such as 2.x, may require a separate purchase or paid upgrade. Your existing major-version license does not become a subscription and is not invalidated merely because a newer major version is released. We do not promise a particular release schedule, feature, operating-system version, or host compatibility indefinitely.
Refunds
Paid one-time purchases have a 14-day money-back guarantee beginning on the purchase date. Request a refund through support@matari-audio.com using the order email and order reference. A completed refund ends the corresponding major-version entitlement and license access, but does not end an older major-version license you still own. This voluntary policy does not limit any statutory consumer rights that apply to you.
Availability and changes
Pre-release features, formats, compatibility, and services may change or be withdrawn. We may suspend access needed to protect users, providers, or the service. We will not delete customer data as a routine rollback mechanism.
Disclaimers
The website and pre-release software are provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law. Keep backups of projects and audio before using beta software. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Matari Audio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from the service or software. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
